Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers

The treatment involves the reduction of pressure in those areas. Take prescribed medication i.e. antibiotics given to control it. Antibiotics may vary according to the severity of the foot ulcer. Measures that can be taken at home include, replacement of ill-fitting footwear, washing ones feet frequently to keep them clean, use of certain gel or medications etc.

Foot ulcers caused by diabetes can be very severe, preventing them is always better, than trying to cure after developing.
