Designer Inspired: Natural, Beautiful Eyebrows

The cloaks, trench, and quilted coats on models are a big focus, in addition to their bushy eyebrows. According to style.com, Diane Kendal- makeup artist for the show wanted to create a more fresh look for the spring season. “Eyebrows define and frame the face. They’re a great way to give an edge to a natural look,” Kendal said.

These bushy-eyed beauties are a great example of next year’s beauty trend for eyebrows. Go natural! Keep your brows cleaned and groomed by plucking only the stray hairs. These are the hairs that located outside of your brow bone and growing in a different direction than your other hair. Try brushing your brows first, and see which hairs need to be plucked (make sure you use angled tweezers). If hesitant, try using white liner over the stray hair that you plan to pluck. This technique will help give you an idea of how your overall brows will look. Next, use an eyebrow liner to fill in the gaps or space between each hair on your brows. Try a color that is close to your natural hair color, and do not be afraid to keep your brows lighter than hair. Use feathered strokes along your brows to create a full effect. After, brush finger tip along brow to smear the liner for a more natural look.

Winter is here, and we have some time to grow out our brows before spring. In the meantime, try using eyebrow pencils like Givenchy Powdery Eyebrow Pencil that have a round brush at the end. This type of pencil provides the perfect precision while defining the brows. The eyebrow pencil is long lasting and gives you a well-groomed look.
